Boscolo Wedding - Castello di monterone

In XIII century, a medieval castle, probably connected with Templar knights.Today, a beautiful historical residence with 18 rooms, each one furnished respecting the medieval atmosphere, but without forgetting modern comfort: swimming pool with jacuzzi, a little wellness area with sauna and turkish bath, high speed internet connection, they are only examples.

A beautiful cloister for relaxing under the shadow of ancient oak trees, a beautiful panoramic view on Perugia and on the valley from many points around the castle and from the terraces. A blooming garden with roses to admire in spring and in summer. Inside the castle, two main places for relaxing: the “Sala Blu” with tv sat and wi-fi connection and the little library, the jewel of the castle where it is possible to find volumes in different languages.

Menus

Gradale and Il Postale are the two gastronomic proposals of Castello di Monterone. Gradale means typical and traditional cooking, ancient recipes re-interpreted by our Chef Stefano Marconi in order to satisfy everyone's preferences. The grill or the home-made pasta are examples of what you can find in the Menu. There are also two proposal of Tasting Menus.

Il Postale is the gastronomic excellence of the Castle. an elegant and refined place, frescoed walls and only 5 tables. One of those is situated in front of the kitchen, where it is possible to see the Chef preparing his creations. Il Postale moved from Città di Castello (50km from Perugia) to Castello di Monterone and brought his precious Michelin Star
